The literary contribution of "Il Magnifico" to Italian culture

Preface:

Usually the figure of Lorenzo De 'Medici, is remembered as an example of effectiveness in the management of the "public affairs". His prudent administration of the Republic of Florence made him the spur of the balance of Italian politics, and of the Tuscan lordships the cradle of the Renaissance.

His skills were also extended to the field of writing and poetry: "il Magnifico", thanks to the influx of intellectuals such as Poliziano, Ficino, Pulci and Pico della Mirandola, who also gave a contribution in "vulgar" language to Italian literature, increasing his figure as a humanist.
